  1. Ridnaun will apparently be the first IBU Cup with a live stream
  2. Seats? In Martell? I'm going to say a big fat 'nope' to that You can either stay inside some sort of restaurant that has a balcony on two levels (put 1000 people there and you'll get on CNN for the disaster probably) or stand at the finish line or a little before on some snowy and slippery rocks, but that's about it. No seats there (like in any other IBU Cup venue I've seen).
  3. Next season, there's still plenty of IBU Cup action on the schedule this winter
  4. I am now very curious to 'panties' infringements
  5. Who will be the highest placed athlete from Norway/Austria/Germany/any non-traditional country (like X, Y, Z)? Who will have the best worst result? How many athletes will reach all four final rounds? What's the highest final Four Hills Tournament position anyone who missed a round will have?
  6. Great, two of the four Brazilians mentioned in it won't even compete biathlon this winter (or go to Europe at all) On the bright side: finally, finally, finally (our now very own) @brunamoura is in it again (after 2016/17)
  7. Yeah but 34 of them are about tadalafil so they don't count.
  8. Quite clear that something is going on behind the scenes there..
  9. With way more than just a top-3 though. I'd go for a whole host of questions.
  10. It'd be interesting to see some numbers to back that up. Out of curiousity by the way, not out of 'I don't believe you'.
  11. If Kobayashi shows half his form of last season, the crystal globe is gone for everyone else
  12. It'd be awesome if that's true, but I have my doubt as to how realistic that is..
  13. Same thing going to happen with women's Nordic combined.
  14. Which all makes it a better option than women's four, but not a good option overall (yet). Give it 4-5 seasons of solid World Cup action before thinking about adding it.
  15. You should see that in person, then it's more than only the first minutes of the broadcast. Whistle or something by some official, everyone getting ready and then this magic sound for a half hour or so.
  16. Yep, UK is easily the most calm and politically stable country in the world without any problems on the street or whatsoever, specifically in the past few years.
  17. Everyone I 'know' from that area fits in one of these two categories indeed
  18. Can not really be described any better than this Plus, the pure magic sound of the first shooting bout at a mass start (or close pursuit)
  19. That's nice for the very youngest categories, but it's boring as shit if biathlon moves to laser rifles. Please no.
  20. Uh, ok? It has absolutely nothing to do with what the entire article is about, but sure Much as I would not be surprised by this, I always wonder where you get these articles from...I mean, the Gal Post?
  21. That men's team has monstrous potential, especially for IBU Cup level..
  22. You're aware Dale already competed in a few World Cups last season? Now it should be even less of a problem, since Henrik l'Abee Lund has retired as well. I'm wondering how long it will take before the new generation (other than Dale) gets more chances at the highest level. Sindre Pettersen already did last season as well and did a pretty good job at it, there's also Aleksander Fjeld Andersen, Endre Stromsheim, Vebjoern Soerum and Sivert Guttorm Bakken who seem to be in great shape and/or had a really good season last year. I'd say the likes of Erlend Bjoentegaard or Lars Helge Birkeland (and Vetle Sjastad Christiansen to a lesser extent) are under some serious pressure if they want to keep their World Cup places.
