  1. Too bad Claire Tallent got DQ'ed in the last kilometers, by the looks of it she was the only one making the race slightly interesting (6 seconds behind Montag at 16km). https://results.gc2018.com/en/athletics/result-women-s-20km-race-walk-fnl-000100-.htm
  2. Paris-Roubaix today
  3. Honestly, he apparently wants to vote...I'd say if he answers (with votes) within 24 hours it could be counted. Just my opinion of course, but let's face it: Turkey is the only country missing so it won't lead to other countries wanting the same thing, and in the end, isn't TISC mostly about having a good time instead of strict rules?
  4. That was after reading what he did. Don't take everything too serious and especially literal.
  5. He sounds like the Richard Kilty of weightlifting. Booooo. Although Kilty didn't hit anyone as far as I know, just exploded and called athletics fans cockroaches and god knows what else (because he deleted his tweets, coward as he is).
  6. Yeah I googled that...from now on I'll be cheering every time he fails a lift in whatever competition
  7. Bronze for 16-year old (at least officially) Kenyan Zakayo in the men's 5000m.
  8. He does kinda look like a major asshat
  9. Caio Moreira has retired as well, now that we're talking about it anyway. Didn't compete last season already, which was because he retired to focus on life Too bad, it was a lot of fun to have him around when I visited the Brazilian team, but if other things in life are more satisfying, he deserves to focus on that
  10. There we go, Bruna training a blind Chilean girl in Gramado (as part of Chile trying to set up a Paralympic team and Bruna's journey on becoming a coach after her career) (I was searching my files for Gramado, because I was sure I recorded a video of the sprint champs, but couldn't find it )
  11. Ice stadium, duuuuuude. Indoor skiing facility! The hill on the right was part of the course for Brazilian cross-country sprint championships, with the start all the way down (sort of down on the left of where the photo was taken), then the climb to the top, a turn, downhill with some turns and back to the start/finish
  12. Race walk has started
  13. English source as well: http://www.biathlonworld.com/news/detail/extended-break-for-koukalova-out-for-the-2018-19-season This is all a rather vague story.
  14. I also read there are rather strong rumours we won't see her in biathlon at all anymore.
  15. Yes! That's exactly it! I knew something good was about to happen
  16. 40 butterfly weightlifting then I'm gonna sit outside and drink some wine for a bit now
  17. "Look people, I gotta hurry, there's the TAISC draw going on so, yeah, I have no time for small talk. Nom nom nom nom see you!"
  18. Just saw that grand slam home run. Jesus, that literally went out of the park. Rumour has it the ball is still flying.
  19. Brasilia definitely has some nice places, my advice is to go to the top of the TV tower
  20. Dear Lord, Bogaerts is on freaking fire. Two runs batted in with a double in the first inning, grand slam in the second inning....6 RBI's and we're not even done with the third inning yet
