    A slightly belated Merry Christmas! Had a fine day with the parents yesterday. Today my sister and her housband will be joining for a second "christmas eve"

    The night before christmas eve and right now we have about 10,5 degrees celsius. That's close to the average temperature in May... This is not christmas weather! Edit: Actually it's higher than the nighttime average in June!

    42 out of 61 Norwegian cross-country skiing medals since 1992 were taken by users of asthma medication (or at least who have spoken openly about it). But the problem is mainly that they've been using it preventive (at least officially) meaning that also healthy skiers have been doing so. That's what's truly worrying (I don't remember if they stopped this after the Sundby case) and kind of suspicious.

    Yesterday Martin Møller got 80.68 FIS points which is his second result below 100 for the Olympic qualification period meaning that he is now qualified for the Olympics. Unless somebody else manage to go below 100 in the first 2 stages of the Tour de Ski, he will be the Danish cross-country skier in Pyeongchang.
