  2. https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1059974/exclusive-talks-over-possible-north-and-south-korean-womens-ice-hockey-team-at-pyeongchang-2018 Though I'm very positive towards letting North Korea participate even though they haven't met the original deadline for figure skating, I'm kind of sceptical towards this idea. Though I love the symbolic thing in marching in together, they would have to compete together in everything, to make sense when it comes to doing so in ice hockey.
  3. I honestly don't think so. People will without doubt follow the curling teams and biathlon has a growing interest, but I don't think most people will understand that something's happening before the games begin. I will without doubt take time to follow the games. The good thing is that I'm best during the second half of the day and with the time zones, most of the important things (for me as Danish and Swedish) will end around 2 in the afternoon (a bit of ice hockey later than that, but that's about it). I will surely see something for breakfast and lunch, and if I've been effective the next month (well, a little less), I may also give myself a few full "days"
  4. Oh yeah (though you're 2 days late ) In other words: 10th is the best!
  5. Not much here in Denmark. A few mentions of the Danish athletes and also a bit attention to Bjørndalen, but other than that, nothing. But then again. the summer games doesn't get much attention before the start (or a few days before). Sadly I will not be able to go 100 % into following it, as I'm working on my final thesis, and will most likely not be able to cut out anything near 2 weeks.
  6. And I'm even one of the few Danes using Swedish TV more than Norwegian!
  7. A plane? For travelling such long distances? You must be crazy!
  8. I know how you feel. It's pretty much the same in my political party. A lot of football and possibly handball fans, but not much else!
  9. Who is one of the main commentators on Norwegian TV (if the profile facts are true)
  10. I am rather surprised that 100m skiing isn't mentioned!
  11. Nah. It was a highlight when it was an interval start!
  12. Victor Axelsen winning the badminton Worlds (as only the 3rd Danish MS)
  13. LET'S GO!
  14. And here I'm sitting thinking... Who?
  15. What a chaotic race and still it managed to be extremely boring!
  16. Wow. Stopped following the match (on flashscore) at 2-3. What a fight!
  17. How many World Championships/World Cups does darts have?
  18. A few alternative New Year songs (it's not only Abba ) including one from former TISC-participants Kashmir: And not necessarily a New Year's song, but when could this Danish classic be more fitting (in 2 different versions)?
  19. It's just supposed to be a relaxed evening, not a party!
  20. I'm not impressed!
  21. Looking at the pictures from the hosts of the evening that I'm going to, I guess that sounds pretty close to my evening/night as well (9 persons, 10 bottles of wine (5 white and 5 red), 2 bottles of gin, 2 of rhum and 2 of whiskey. Add to that a (secret) welcome drink, the bottle of gin that I'm bringing and at least one bottle of bubbles from each). Good thing that New years day is spent in front of the TV (TdS, Garmish, New Years concert from Vienna and later the New years speech from the Prime minister)
