    In all honesty, there is some truism in what our British friend is saying. TV ratings do matter. NBC ratings are reportedly only at half compared to Pyeongchang. Cases like Valieva are now becoming key. If someone who tested positive a month ago is allowed to start as if nothing happened, then the IOC is risking to have the Olympics become progressively more irrelevant (like the Oscars, for the mainstream audience).

    The winning time will be some 15 minutes slower than the first ever classic+free relay (Calgary 1988)! It will be 30 minutes slower than Pyeongchang/Sochi. So, yeah, someone seriously messed up the course measurement here. EDIT: Heck. This will likely be slower than the 4x10 classic relay from Sarajevo.

    And all that for nothing. I don't know how is this happening again. Hyvarinen was quite good on the freestyle leg on the skiathlon. Either other nations take magic potions for the relays, or the Finns just can't work together.
