  1. That's so random. Why on earth would you have an issue with all-caps names??
  2. Men's 25 m rapid fire pistol Sergei Evglevski - MQS achieved Men's trap Mitchell Iles - MQS achieved Women's trap Natalie Rooney - MQS achieved So 3/4 Australian qualifiers in pistol events have Russian names.
  3. Right. Because it's impossible to travel 831 km in Japan in half-a-day.
  4. player was having a home-run jog, when he realized it's not actually a home-run.
  5. JUMPING Group A (2) - Group B (2) - Group C (2) - Group F (2) - Group G (2) - Additional (1) - Detailed rankings - HERE. More or less safe qualifiers - Sri Lanka fell behind both Hong Kong and Thailand. It's still close, but she needs some decent points. Soon.
  6. Japan is doing a fairly good job in re-routing their host quotas towards unqualified nations.
  7. Women's trap - will battle for three quota places.
  8. So it was a mistake. Once again all listed events count for rankings, while those without 5* judges do not count for MER. It makes sense. There are no changes in the simulation, however Wagner, Williamson and Zimmermann do get their points back. As for the team reallocation list, it has changed a bit... Team reallocation list 203 (+5) 213 (+4) 283 (-4) 333 (+1) 342 (+4) 342 (+4)
  9. So Venezuela is having a total meltdown after leading 4:2.
  10. I mean, didn't Kramer denounce 10000 m already??
  11. Correct. It's elementary physics. Different weight distribution, in arms for example, plays part too.
  12. To be fair, men do have higher center of gravity on average. Surely that has some impact given the margin for error in these events.
  13. So the host quota will get reallocated to an unqualified nation with the highest ranked MQS qualifier. That's pretty significant given the depth of nations in 10 m air rifle.
  14. Women's 10 m air pistol Danielle Moleman - no MQS Dina Aspandiyarova - MQS achieved
  15. Not quite. If China and/or Thailand fail to fill a team, then they are given individual zonal spot(s) with top priority, irregardless of their own points. So India does need at least one of them to succeed. Deadline for reaching the requirements is June 2020. As for the unused team places, they would get reallocated to other nations based on rankings (right now to Russia and Belarus).
  16. iFoil? Are they sponsored by the Apple?
  17. There has been one important development from India's perspective. Apparently the nations who fail to form a team can only be given one individual place. Since Hong Kong can no longer overtake India, this means that India only really needs one of China/Thailand to complete a team, what seems highly likely.
  18. Right. It probably is, since it is indeed very easy to expose.
  19. No update from FEI. I'm starting to wonder who to contact if this continues... Michael Bugan? That would be weird, I've never attempted to contact an athlete before. Eurodressage? They love a good scandal. FEI? They may just ignore it.
  20. But anyway, host quotas are most definitely not a waste. Korean women's team started existing around Seoul 1988. What happened to Spain after Barcelona 1992 is completely of the charts. And so on...
