Our medal target of 8 medals exceeded with our 9th medal at these Games from Niamh McCarthy. It was a low target but so was our Olympic target and we didn't even reach that

An awesome career indeed Ireland's target is 8 medals at these Paralympics which is much lower than last time in London 2012 where we won 8 golds and 16 medals in total. Jason Smyth and Michael McKillop will be going for their 4th gold medals on the track here. Hoping for some good results
