So, considering just European teams we will have those groups: I - Poland and Russia J - Serbia, Italy, Spain K - Turkey and Greece L - France and Lithuania In group I - i would say that Argentina will win 1st place and Russia 2nd. Poland is good but i pick Russia just because they are more experienced. Group J - Serbia should finish 1st and Spain 2nd. But Italy is more than capable to win Spain. Group K - most difficult to predict. Greece will win NZ, Turkey will win Czech Republic. So, USA and Brazil with 6, Greece and Turkey with 5. Is USA capable to win both matches? Dont know. But ok, i will pick them and Greece just because their reputation. Group L - also difficult to predict. 3 teams in contention. Australia is great, Lithuania also impressed me. I would say that Australia will finish 2nd and Lithuania 1st. So possible draw in 1/4 final would be Argentina - Spain USA - Australia Serbia - Russia Lithuania - Greece From this part its impossible to predict because everyone is beatable. But i will try. Spain - Australia Serbia - Lithuania. Fight for 2 olympic spots will be also extremelly demanding.

I agree. 1998 team was playing interesting basketball. They were compact team, deffence was rather good, considering their reputation. This team actually showed nothing today. Field goal percentage was criminal, deffence was nonexistent. Turkey is probably 7th European team by strength and they still almost won, by showing nothing more than good 3 points percentage. To be honest, i cant recall time when there were so many teams capable of winning USA. In recent history only Spain and Serbia were capable to achieve that.

Both teams are participants at WC, so how is that absurd? Absurd is statement that 1998 team played better than USA in 2019? Absurd is statement that 1998 team won a medal and this 2019 team could finish empty handed? Interesting.

I watched their 1998 team. And they were solid compared to this one. And their 1998 team was weakest in history.

Coaches are other side of the medal but all these players are 3rd grade players compared to possible team. Only one player in NBA 2019 3rd team.

It was ridiculous to watch, those final minutes. Greece just couldnt compose themselves.

I watched whole game and i am not impressed at all. Anderson was making huge difference and thats it. Greece lost because they were terrible, not because Brazil was exceptional. But yes, Brazil is serious team and they can beat USA.

This USA roster just cant do better and thats it. They are limited on every position. There isnt any player that makes a difference. If they somehow do win WC, then all i can say is - mirracle happened. Greece, Australia,Lithuania,France, italy, Serbia, they all can win them. Maybe even Argentina.

This USA performance was really shamefull and still they won. Turkey is so bad and they still almost won.
