  1. News from Colombia, they said they're planning to vote on time. The only person that hasn't read the reminder message that I've sent and has no comfirmation of voting from other users is the user from Moldova.
  2. Also, sorry for not being efficient on spreading information at the moment, but I'm at home only for sleep with +/- 1 hour that I spend to catch up on everything that is happening in the world Basically, I should be able to breathe somewhere around November. PS: Seeing as I'm writing this message at 1 A.M. and waking up in around 7 hours to catch a train, it's a pretty good giveaway that my life's a wreck at the moment I'll be replying tomorrow evening. (or should I say today?)
  3. I haven't heard anything from Azerbaijan, Colombia, Malta, Moldova. Turkey noticed my message, but didn't say if they're voting or not. All other countries informed me that they're in the middle of voting process.
  4. Yeah, too bad it'll only stay as an idea
  5. I know this contest is not that great so far when we consider the hosting. I've had a lot of things planned, but all I've been getting these past days are more problems rather than solutions on how to solve them. I was preparing to shoot some videos to welcome everyone in the contest, but I see that now it is out of the question. What is my upmost concern is to make a good opening ceremony and the grand final should be running smoothly. Sorry for the inconvenience and sorry for not meeting everyone's expectations if anyone had any
  6. Yey, a country from letter S will send their votes. I made a table on excel in which I am writing down the votes and then there's like active voting from the start and 14 empty slots in the back.
  7. I will start to press the national juries for votes, but I was a bit preoccupied with 3 exams and now my birthday preparations I keep getting messages every day, but they're not votes
  8. We have an Italian e-rasmus student in our Italian class and his name is Andrea, which globally is known as a female name, but in Lithuania we have a male version of this name Andrėjus, which stems from the Russian language Andrej.
  9. The most popular names (which by now would be slightly outdated regarding the younger generation are: Ona (Anna/Anne) Irena (Irene) Janina (Janna/Janine) Kristina (Christina/Christine) Danutė (No equivalent) Jonas (John) Vytautas (NE) Antanas (NE) Tomas (Tom/Thomas) Juozas (NE) As for 2015-16 ish, completely different names come up as the most popular: Emilija (Emilia) Viltė (Will) Gabija (Gabby) Austėja (NE) Ema (Emma) Dominykas (Dominique/Dominic) Lukas (Luke) Matas (Matt) Jonas (John) Jokūbas (Jacob)
  10. If your nickname is in the green, that means your votes have been received and you're oficially IN the competition.
  11. Thanks for the info, you can find the playlist in the first post now. I'll update the people that have already voted in an hour.
  12. Announcement Lithuania (host nation) has already submitted their votes and that means that every single nation is now allowed to send their votes as well. Some key rules before sending your votes: > Make sure to send 12 countries ranked from 12 to 1 points to me via private message, it is also required to have 3 additional countries ranked 13th/14th/15th in case the country that you've voted for does not vote before the deadline. > It would make my life easier if when sending your votes you would compose a new message and name the subject "Votes", this would be the chat that we would use for further TISC related things, such as templates, introduction messages etc. So, good luck with ranking your favourites and let's get this competition underway.
  13. Well, I have my 12+3, now I am going to wait until Saturday, listen to them again and decide on final ranking
  14. Well, the deadline is oficially here and it's a bit disappointing that we lost and Also, this year we won't be seeing But I am very happy to have back in the contest. It's time for Lithuania to start casting our vote, let's have a great contest and hopefully we won't lose a nation in the voting procedure.
  15. With 6 hours left till the deadline, it seems that we won't be seeing Guyana or Chile.
  16. I am very glad that India decided to answer the call and join the competition. Welcome
  17. Yay, Wanderer!!! New Zealand lives on
  18. Sadly, we might strike out without New Zealand as well and I am getting worried about Chile.
  19. And I'm here thinking why does Japan and Philippines hate us Also, throughout the years I've noticed that Iran users don't like music either (speaking from my countless times contacting these three nations)
  20. Yeah, and I got all excited about a debuting nation
  21. When I have the luxury to just sit around and surf the net and have my tabs open, I tend to reply quite quickly Unfortunately, I'm not doing a film review for university and that's the only reason why I actually have free time now
  22. Sindo's giving the person a second chance, so hopefully this does not happen in the future.
  23. Niger's registration was not accepted, because the application was not from Niger. Any further abuse of the rules will be thoroughly investigated and dealt with.
