Easy win against Estonia, but we have to play better in the rest of tournament. I very much doubt that Estonia will win a single set at this ECh.

I think Hungary is one of the exceptions, because Hungarians equally don't care about men's and women's volleyball, so I doubt that more people would show up in Budapest if we were hosting the Men's ECh, regardless of what the size of the audience will be in the next few days.

Well, it wouldn't be too bad if we didn't have that WK2 boat weight incident. I think we will have 12 quotas after the WCh, 5-5 in men's and women's kayak and 2 in women's canoe. After that we will likely get 1 more in all of those disciplines later, so the situation isn't terrible. And what about men's canoe? Well..... lol, let's hope for a miracle.

So Germany is only in 1 Olympic final out of the 6 tomorrow and we are only in 2... Belarus, Poland and Ukraine are in 4 Olympic finals, Russia, Spain, France, and China are in 3.

Yeah. There will definitely be some, but I think only A finalists have a realistic chance to get a quota in K1, K2, and C1 with reallocation.

Yeah, I was exaggerating when I have said that "it doesn't exist here". I think 99% of Hungarians never even seen or heard of field hockey.

Hm, this site does say that there will be a fan zone in Hungary, but I honestly don't know anything else about it. https://eurovolley.cev.eu/en/women/tickets/ I am assuming that there won't be many fans at this place, because volleyball is still waaaay less popular than the other main Olympic team sports (football, handball, basketball, water polo, ice hockey) in Hungary with the exception of field hockey, which doesn't even exists here. I mean, our women's team had a couple of friendly matches before the ECh in another Hungarian city and the attendance was around 100. Most of the Hungarians don't even know that we are hosting this ECh.

I have one more question about a qualification: if a nation can only win one athlete quota after the WCh, because it already has 5, can that nation compete in the K2 European qualification event?

Well... this is the one part I am not 100% sure about. I mean, if a nation already 2 athlete quotas, it would be weird if they get 4 more with the reallocation thanks to an 11th place in K4. I mean... wtf does the "enable to fill K4 boats" actually mean here? Wouldn't they just leave that part out of the document if it's simply about giving 4 more athlete quotas to NOCs?

Probably more than 2, because the document says that they are "filling" the boats, which I think means that they are only giving athlete quotas to nations with the reallocation who didn't directly qualify at least 4 athletes in Men's or Women's kayak. And for example if a nation already has 2 athlete quotas, they will only get 2 more with the reallocation to fill the K4 boat, not 4.

There are 3 guaranteed quotas for 3 non-European nations (1 per continent) in K4 IF they reach the finals, so here are the nations who are in the SFs. Men's K4 Asia - Oceania - Americas - Women's K4 Oceania - (New Zealand is already in the final) Asia - Americas - So some of these nations can potentially qualify with just a Top18 placement.

So there will be a Women's kayak pool and they will fill K4 boats with it.

btw, 8 athletes in the WK2 final are also in K4 boats: Karolina NAJA / Anna PULAWSKA Maryna LITVINCHUK / Volha KHUDZENKA Mariya POVKH Caitlin RYAN Sarah GUYOT / Manon HOSTENS So there's a chance that we will see a lot of reallocation.

More like this happens when the tech team massively fucks everything up by entering a boat that doesn't reach the minimum weight limit. This was a 100% guaranteed quota and medal for Hungary.
