  1. I’ll try to post links to some other national Champs this weekend, but the bad news is that two of the biggest - & - are locked up. Or if anyone else wants to post their own, go ahead!
  2. Interna international streaming is here - FTA. https://www.youtube.com/@atletismo.brasil/streams
  3. Battles brewing for third place overall as well.
  4. Pogačar attacks, no response! He wins the stage & gets about 25 secs back.
  5. Kicking off again with 4.5km to go. Vingegaard, Pogačar & Kiatkowski the only survivors going for the étape.
  6. Entry list for the European U23s in next week. Some well-known names involved - Alekna, Hodgkinson, Kambundji. All live on streaming at least. https://www.european-athletics.com/news/final-entries-published-for-espoo-2023-european-athletics-u23-championships
  7. Settled down now - Vingegaard & Pogačar are banking a two minute gap to the rest, so the breakaway remnants are being given the chance at the stage.
  8. Kuss goes, so straight fight between Vingegaard & Pogačar with 1300m of Tourmalet left & 48k overall. Hindley in the group with Buchmann, Yates x 2 etc.
  9. 3.5km to the top if the Tourmalet & Kuss pulls the trigger - Hindley already gapped. Pogačar holding. Hindley struggling
  10. One of those waiting for something to happen days. Powliss picks up KoM points over the Col d’Aspin, back into that maillot. Breakaway has 3:20 & will break up over the Tourmalet. 72k to go.
  11. OK, was going to suggest combining this with the biathlon but on reflection…..
  12. Vingegaard has made up about 20 secs on Hindley in the flat TT phase, but he’ll get a TdF debut win & maillot. Pogačar loses about 70 secs.
  13. 17k to go straight Hindley Vingegaard battle on the descent. Pogačar secure in white Descent not working for UAE, still losing time.
  14. Hindley off solo, Vingegaard & Pogačar battle. Adam Yates distanced. Vingegaard cracks Pogačar, has to regroup on the descent.
  15. Onto the final climb, Alaphillipe & van Aerts melt like icecubes in coffee. So it’s Hindley against the World for Yellow.
  16. Lead at the top of the Soudet is 4 minutes & Jai Hindley is in the break, so he is now in virtual yellow until there’s a fightback.
  17. Here we go on our first big climb. Pedersen, van Aert, Campenaerts off the front, but not a huge decisive lead.
  18. Stealing each others' money makes a change from stealing each others boyfriends.
  19. They have been spending large sums on bureaucracy for years.
  20. Van Vleuten & Longho Borghini both come off on the same stretch of new-laid tarmac in the Giro Donne - both remounted & finished, but Longo Borghini was well shaken up.
  21. You can tell why they sometimes have stages ending in velodromes or racetracks, but never in a bullfighting arena.
  22. Looks like we have 90km of départ fictif today, nobody is doing anything yet.
  23. Quin Simmons has taken over from Shane Archbold as the #1 mullet in world cycling.
  24. Another Kenyan marathon runner, Titus Ekiru. https://athleticsweekly.com/athletics-news/joint-sixth-fastest-marathon-runner-in-history-suspended-for-doping-1039969189/?fbclid=IwAR38TCJuaG-abnhqHtmGjwtAtXWGCURwBlUodYFsMPPPwqyO5uGOltRi4Gs
