Plus a dead flat course & wet conditions, nobody wants to do anything. Going to be decided on the run.

Two person race in the triathlon between Alden & Gautier - others trying to get a chase going. Wet roads, lots of paint & tramlines so perfect conditions for crashing.

All the ski jumping events are straight two round finals btw. Practice jump. But no qual rounds.

Another point: he cannot get injured. All able bodied athletes are putting tremendous stress on their take-off legs. Like pitchers is baseball, the amount of work/practice they can do is limited. He doesn’t have that limitation.

He's a great athlete, but his blade gives him an advantage over able-bodied athletes, so the comparisons are not really fair.

Well, I guess nobody appealed to the jury, but it was definitely a DQ offense. It is just about impossible to pick up a dropped baton legally.

It’s a Scandi triple! All DQed from Women’s 4x100m! Just so the judges don’t look like they are prejudiced against the Cross of St Magnus, are DQed as well.

As a rosbif, I do love to attack , but really & truly, what are they doing in the B Division of Women’s relay? And getting hammered by the Suissesses? Something is badly wrong.

You know those blind cycling tandems in the Paralympics? & worked out very quickly that the way to win was to match the heaviest possible sprint cyclist as the “pilot” with the lightest possible blind person as the “athlete”. May well be the same here.

Kambundji DQF surely! Yep. Portuguese guy was .102, she was .09 so judges correct.

Boumkwo also doubles up - Shot & 100m Hurdles - 32.81 SB and not the faintest hint of a false start.
