  1. The US actually had a pretty good day.

The women put 4 in the pursuit -

    Emily Dressigacker - 10th place

    Hannah Grossman - 54th place

    Deedra Irwin - 56th place

    Kelsey Dickinson - 60th place

I would love to see Dressigacker finish in the top 10 tomorrow, that would be awesome.

For the men, they put 3 in the pursuit -

    Max Durtschi -  29th

    Alex Howe - 48th

    Jake Ellingson - 55th

Emily Dressigacker had a great race a hung was only 1:16 behind the winner!

  2. Also, Germnay's Simon Schempp has stopped his season due to health reasons.  He will train for he 2019-2020 season.

The German men's team looks to be shaping up like this:

Benedikt Doll, Erik Lesser, Johannes Kühn and Roman Rees.  Philipp Nawrath is also trying to make the squad.

Aaaaand it's gone. Apparently someone either misread the rules or IBU didn't communicate it clearly, but unlike in the IBU Cups athletes are not allowed to compete in a relay only without competing in individual competitions. So both are now in Minsk for no competition, which is kinda annoying. They'll use the opportunity to get some extra training in and to get some 'classes' in waxing from Braztralia's wax man (this guy).

I had wondered why I did not see their names on the start list.  Too bad.

  5. Not sure who really pays attention to this, but due to lack of snow, the Junior IBU stop in Sweden has been moved to Norway and there will be two competitions in a row there.

Next up the Single Mixed and Mixed relays tomorrow.

  7. These races should be fun to watch.  I forward to seeing the youth step up and compete on the IBU level.  If T Boe can be anywhere where he normally is, this could be a very successful week for himself.  Add Russians Eliseev, Malyshko, Babikov and Tsvetkov.  Ukrainians and Rastorgujevs as well.  Anev and Iliev from Bulgaria, lots of regulars from the World Cup.  Plus most of the Swedesh team!

On the female side, Sweden, the Semerenko sisters, and Gasparin.

  8. I posted this in IBU Cup thread, I am sorry for the double post.

  10. The US did well in the Single-Mixed, I was at first a little surprised at the selection of Dunklee over Egan.  Dunklee is not having her best season.  But, other than her melt-down on the last shoot, when 3rd was a possibility, I think she could have closed down Simon of France, if she had gone clear, the team did well.
