Belgian Thierry Langer broke his foot during a training session and will miss January. He is trying to be back for Feb and the Olympics. I also read that Roseland will skip Anthotz as well.

Matvey Eliseev has stopped competitions for at least the next 4 months. "For me the priority is my health. I am going to take exams in Moscow to understand what is not working in my body. I want to do everything to get back to my best level." He hopes to compete at the Russian Championships in Tyumen in late March. IBU Cup biathlete Ruslan Bryhadyr had a positive doping test.
