Germany lost to Spain. Just....
-
No. Because corruption is way too deep into AIBA. Because the results aren't serious 50% of the time. Because the best boxers don't compete at the olympics and I don't like that in any sport (men's football, Baseball, etc).

Well, my city is in a middle area between subtropical and subpolar zones so there aren't that big temperature variations compared to other places. Currently 8 in winter at almost midday, which is fine I guess. I hate the summer, especially when you are in a place without AC in a very hot day.

India wins handily against a weak Italy (who likely felt the blow from losing 12-1). India has been the strongest asian team for 2-3 years but this is their first good result in a world tournament, it's usually China and Korea who perform better than them against teams of other continents. They will also have good chance to win vs Ireland playing like this.

The registration process to get the yog pass is open since today. I already sent my request.

What? not really, it was all determined by ranking and serpentine system: pool A: (1st, 8th, 9th & 16th), B: (2,7,10, 15), C: (3, 6, 11, 14), D: (4, 5, 12, 13) The semifinal was supposed to be England-Argentina (2v3), it's just that both teams (and New Zealand too) failed to perform.
-
Unless England loses the next game, one of Ireland, Italy or India will be in semifinals.

I would never call anyone "big favorite for gold" in shooting. -
Summer Olympic Games 2020 Biggest Gold Medal Favourites
LDOG replied to heywoodu's topic in Summer Olympic Games Tokyo 2020
Riner looks closer to lose every year. He should have lost in semis last wch but referee helped him. Yes, I know it sounds silly but it's the truth. -
Our team is beyond pathetic. 13 PC no goal, opponent 1 shot and it's goal this tournament is probably going to be the worst disappointment of argentine sport since football WC 2002.

I read today that China didn't take here their full squad, opting to save players for the Asian Games. Maybe that can explain their dismal performance so far.

[PREDICTION CONTESTS] Discussion Thread
LDOG replied to Wanderer's topic in Totallympics Prediction Contests
I give up, this tournament is impossible. I may as well have made random predictions everywhere and I would be earning more points. I don't remember any hockey competition like this, it's normally a very predictable sport. -
Archery: 0-1 (women individual) Artistic Swimming: 0 Athletics: 13-16 Badminton: 0 - only core sport Argentina has never qualified. Baseball: 0 Basketball: 0-12 (men, 50/50 chance) Beach Volleyball: 0-4 Boxing: 1-2 Canoeing - Slalom: 0-1 Canoeing - Sprint: 2-10 (for sure K1 200 and 1000 in men, I don't know if there is still continental quota for K4) Cycling - BMX: 1-2 (could be two men -difficult- or one each gender) Cycling - Mountain Bike: 0-1 (men) Cycling - Road: 1-3 (men) Cycling - Track: 0-1 (omnium if he improves, but most likely nothing) Diving: 0 - this sport is currently inexistent Equestrian: 1-4 maybe we can qualify the jumping team again. [POLL] Which are your 5 Top Favorite Summer Olympic Sports? (2018 version)
LDOG replied to vlad's topic in Totallympics Polls
Football, Handball, Hockey, Volleyball and lately i'm taking a liking to Fencing. -
Solid 5th place of our team smashing USA in their turf. Too bad we had to play Fiji in QF. Fiji and South Africa are the only teams we can never beat.
-
Lol korea changed goalkeeper in the first quarter but it made no difference. I found out their keepers have only 6 and 5 international caps respectively that's an insane choice from their coach, no wonder these girls can't stop any shot.
-
Oops now it's 6-0, all this in 7 shots on goal
