I am pretty certain would choose Watson to partner Skupski or Salisbury if they get the Mixed Doubles slot. She has been specialising more in the doubles of late. Does the ranking/point count change is you choose someone else or do you have to select the people getting you the quota?

Thanks, I know it is a thing (you also need a minimum number of appearances in a "Championship" competition in your second event, I think), but was not sure if it was formally recorded anywhere. I agree it is harsh, but I think the same approach as per Men’s Triathlon (Dickinson over Brownlee) - you have a chance in the Mixed 10m but only if Bale is in the team.

And you are sure he qualifies for 10m? Agreed we only get one quota - but I would argue give it to Bale, not Bargeron.

And as a follow up, does Bargeron even qualify for the 10m? He has got QROG points, but I think he has only competed at 10m once (World Champs 2023), and cannot find a second qualifying championship in his CV. However, the finer details are a bit beyond me. Anyone else know more about this?

Still to see confirmation of the GB Shooting team. Couple of questions. Does the quota in the Men's 50m 3 Pos pretty much give us another place in the 10 Air Rifle as well? Then secondly, especially if the answer to Q1 is "Yes", could they give the quota that Bargeron gained to Dean Bale??? Given McIntosh's superb form right now, and the fact that she seems to do well in the Mixed Team with Bale, would that not point his way?
