Less than 1 month for the XII Central American Games in Guatemala. The flame traveled to the 7 countries participating (for some reason there are no pictures of the flame in Nicaragua).

Last time for Central American Games was 2017 Managua, Nicaragua with 32 sports. 42 sports this time in Guatemala City.

For it was a success since half the medals won are gold. The delegation was the same number of athletes, 122, as last time. So, in comparison it was a better performance. I think Athletics can improve, very few athletes competed from , but I guess a new generation is starting the cycle. For me Golf was a surprise, I don't follow that sport so didn't know how good they were.

won a Gold Medal in Women's Shot Put. Firts ever Gold for Dominica in Senior or Junior Pan Am Games. And first medal at Junior Pan Am. without medals at the two editions, while have not won any medals at this Second Edition. 2 more bronze for today, Weightlifting and Wrestling freestyle, both men.

Guatemala has no options to get golds in Athletics, so will go below top 10.

won first medal ever at Junior Pan Am Games, and its second at Senior or Junior Pan Am after the gold in Lima 2019 won its first Gold medal at Junior Pan Am Games Still 10 NOCs without a medal at this Games.

Ivonne Nochez traveled from Chengdu to Asunción and won a silver medal already. Has won its first ever medal at Junior Pan Am Games, and its first gold medal at Pan Am Games Senior or Junior. Still 12 countries without medals at this edition, and 7 countries without medals in the two editions.

First week ended good for I hope Athletics and Speed Skating bring another 3 or 4 medals.
