Last time for Central American Games was 2017 Managua, Nicaragua with 32 sports. 42 sports this time in Guatemala City. -
For it was a success since half the medals won are gold. The delegation was the same number of athletes, 122, as last time. So, in comparison it was a better performance. I think Athletics can improve, very few athletes competed from , but I guess a new generation is starting the cycle. For me Golf was a surprise, I don't follow that sport so didn't know how good they were.
