  1. Top 20 finally done and Stephanie Venier is set to win her first World Cup race. Brignone took a fall at the fixed jump but is OK.
  2. Heavy fall for Huetter... but not at that jump.
  3. Ga-Pa women's DH stopped after three skiers due to a huge jump profile they are fixing now. Given some of the luck we had this season this is an injury-maker if someone misses the landing.
  4. Natalia Kaliszek/Maksym Spodyriev finished 5th which is the best result in ice dance in EC history. Previous best was 7th twice, 1976 & 2000 (the latter by their current coach Sylwia Nowak).
  5. I won't be surprised if France somehow blows the men's relay in the World Ch
  6. Hmm? Did he want to equal someone's record? It's not like Madrid hosted this event...
  7. Is this Fernandez's last season? I thought he would retire after 2018? For comparison Kurakova scored 178.80 winning the Four Nations in December so she'd have a shot at Top 5 here. Okay, looking forward to next year
  8. Wierer wins Yurlova 8 misses but Mironova ups her at 9. 2 pts for random Estonian Oja
  9. Wierer shooting speed gives her 7 secs. lead over Vittozzi & Dahlmeier.
  10. Wierer vs Vittozzi for the win on the last shoot!
  11. Monika Hojnisz won't start in the pursuit today. Must be the highest ever sprint finish (6th) who pulls out of the pursuit while not being injured/sick. The original plan for Anterselva was to take part in mass start only. Some very strange decision making
  12. Ledecka DNF with a Top 5 result possible. Stuhec almost 1,5 secs. down. Maze super skis doing nothing for her today.
  13. Goggia puts the hammer down, 0,63 faster than C.Suter. That could be good enough for a podium.
  14. 90 minutes delay but women's Super G in Ga-Pa is ready to go. No Shiffrin on start Goggia is back.

  17. Davidova a WC winner already while Kamila Zuk comes 51st. In less than a year Davidova has pulled way ahead of Zuk who dominated last year's WJC. And Davidova still gives away a ton of time on the range due to her breath technique. Dahlmeier was dead on her legs in the last 300m. Almost tripped over the cone at the final bend.

  19. Well, 24 teams means the 1st round is a glorified training session for most of the favorites.

  21. Sadly no Ekaterina Kurakova for Poland here. She won't be eligible to compete for us until June 2019.
  22. Schmidhofer completely blows it. A win gone away...
  23. Holdener 3rd Vonn probably could have finished on the podium here...
