  1. Nicol Delago's worst weekend of the past two years ends with soft DNF. I bet she won't be looking for a Bansko return anytime soon.
  2. Brignone had the green light but dropped it in the last S-section after hooking a gate. I bet she was trying to cut it just as Shiffrin did.
  3. Thank God for Rai Sport on my TV dish Daniella Ceccharelli is quite animated with her commentary.
  4. Shiffrin cut a straight line in the last S-section very early, quite clearly she did this on purpose and that seems to be the fastest way to go.
  5. One big mistakes for Bassino and she's still almost a second faster than Venier.
  6. You don't remember the pre-split days of American open-wheel which made IndyCar as THE series in America but I do. NASCAR profited from the split but they're heading down lately with the decreasing entry lists and the ridiculous playoff championship system. It's still the hillbilly redneck American series rooted in the Deep South so not exactly a white-collar sport. And Jimmie Johnson just isn't Jeff Gordon or Dale Jr in terms of marketing. Kyle Busch is just a random prick who channels the love/hate reaction from motor racing fans. Meanwhile IndyCar is on the way up again, Tony George's All-American oval idea has collapsed and Roger Penske has purchased the Indianapolis Motor Speedway last year. The US Grand Prix is back on the F1 schedule and we could have two races soon if the Miami plan goes ahead. American open wheel has recovered from the split civil war and I'm pretty sure they will overcome NASCAR in this decade again.
  7. And so was Mike Dixon If you ever wondered if got a Top 10 in biathlon, yes they did
  8. Roland Lessing was actually 2nd in Pokljuka pursuit in 2009 Only 9 secs. behind Evgeniy Ustyugov. So it wasn't the first podium for They also had a bronze medal in the now forgotten team event in the even more forgotten 1992 World Champs (Rene Zakhna's father was in the team). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biathlon_World_Championships_1992 Pokljuka 2009 Pursuit: Lessing, Ustyugov & S.Eder.
  9. And she wasn't any less Estonian because of that If you're just looking for an Estonian flag and not a person than Eveli Saue's 5th place in Hochfilzen 15k individual race from 2006 is the best individual result.
  10. WTF Muzaton??? TV director completely blew this.
  11. Matthias Mayer takes the lead. Bye shared winners!
  12. Kriechmayr ties Feuz's time I dislike shared winners.
  13. Another technical DH bullshit. BKK needs to stay the fuck away
  14. Vlhova down in 10th and Rai Sport bids farewell. Should be 1-2-3 for I can't remember if this ever happened in a women's downhill before? Probably not.
  15. Breezy Johnson 4th! Speedsters trying to restore some pride!
  16. Ortlieb didn't choke like yesterday and gets 5th!
  17. Yeah, the speed is obviously higher which took her outside of the line at the second to last turn.
  18. Wiles catches an edge 20 meters before the finish and crashes into the boards. Hopefully no injury!
  19. Well, today's time is 0,3 faster than yesterday despite virtually no change in the course so Vlhova will have to improve some too. At these speeds she's not as shifty as Bassino due to the weight difference.
