  1. No specific source but I can confirm Australian team from this https://olympics.com/en/news/paris-2024-olympics-australia-taekwondo-team
  2. Oumaima El Bouchti gets WR quota reallocation in -49kg as Oceania Qualifiers had just 2 entrants.
  3. Archery has ever had a clean sweep in the first place at Olympics? Koreans win golds but not cleansweep at least in the last couple of decades or so For a nation that won 2 recurve medals at World championship in mixed team and men's team and none in individual podium sweep is out of equation. Archery is an unpredictable sport but Korea has the least experienced women's team for Olympics I have seen from a while, no where close to the nerves of steel they are known for. The Archery world cup in Korea running now should throw more light on them.
  4. are the latest team to Qualify for an ICC WC. Led by Vera Farrane's all round display and some tight bowling by Silepea Polataivao and Olive Lefaga Samoans won the last league match at ICC Women's U19 WC Qualifier 2025 to qualify for ICC U19 Women's WC early next year to be hosted in &
  5. Parveen Hooda loses the quota due to whereabouts failure. She'll serve a short ban and return next year after the case was heard earlier by ITA. Big mistake by the coaches here. will send Jasmine in this category for the final Olympic qualifiers

Total: 9 medals
  7. with quota in 76kg. They will be present in 5 categories in women, with the exception of -57kg.
  8. So Linda Morais qualified from a more difficult half of the draw. She was the only one with a chance from and she converted it!
  9. Don't think the 3rd one was intentional. Poor Akobia
  10. Lazarev to his 3rd straight Olympics. He lost at the same stage last time before qualifying later on due to a positive dope test of wrestler. In 2016 too he qualified due to doping of opponent.
  11. Russia will have at least 5 of the 16 Olympians at 74 kg -Zaurbek Sidakov, RUS -Khetik Tsabolov, SRB -Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov, BLR -Viktor Rassadin, TJK -Tajmuraz Salkazanov, SVK Cherman Valiev, ALB - can make it 6 if he wins tomorrow Also Zhamalov and Bekzod are going to ranking series to determine who goes to Paris for Uzbekistan.
  12. Yes it was a clear foul by Valiev who was pulling the singlet of Rassadin.
  13. Quota in men's freestyle what a relief! Hope Ravi comes back to peak form and wins the trials. Definitely not impressed with Aman.
  14. Both are tough matches, hoping at least Aman converts. Tulga is very good but might be tired so Sujeet has a chance
  15. After the highs of women wrestling it's to the lows of men's wrestling. Can we qualify a single male wrestler or not
  16. Massive day in Indian Women's Wrestling!!! win their 5th Quota and will send their biggest women's wrestling team to Olympics. The bigger news is that after 16 months of protests, struggle, and criticism to women wrestlers who demanded the arrest of the then WFI President, Brij Bhushan has finally paid off. The former WFI President has been charged with molestation and sexual harrasment by the court of female wrestlers including minors. The protest was led by Vinesh Phogat, multiple world medallist, Bajrang Punia, 2020 Olympic bronze medalist and Sakshi Malik, India's first female Olympic medallist in wrestling. Truth prevails in the end.
  17. Final Qualifier having lots of upsets, Nikolova losing to and then Cuban leading in QF by a huge margin losing by fall at the end to was big in 57kg and faces in SF .we also lost Jong In Sun in same category. Wendle was unlucky in 53kg I felt. Top half in 76kg went against my expectations but yeah heavy wrestlers and most of them are close by in terms of levels. Rest almost all were according to plans. Nesrin Bas qualified for 62kg semis on own merit, she is a European medallist in 72kg earlier this year. Not an easy weight cut.
