The I-League witnessed its fastest goal ever in history in the TRAU vs Real Kashmir FC match in the ongoing season which kickstarted last Saturday. TRAU's Tajikistan national team striker Komron Tursunov's strike from outside the box on Sunday in the ninth second etched his name in the history books. His strike was four seconds quicker than the record held by Katsumi Yusa of 13 seconds against Churchill Brothers in the 2018-19 season. The goal currently stands as the fastest goal in Indian top-tier league football.

HS Prannoy too tests positive for COVID-19 and has been withdrawn from Thailand open. Kashyap being close contact also has been withdrawn n quarantined in Thailand.

Indian search for a good forward to replace Sunil is still a distant dream since only Halicharan is in top 15 other than Sunil in scoring goals midway this ISL season.

I only see Manvir as a player who could play as a striker. But he is not a regular for his team and plays wide.

Ankita defeats the 9th seed and moves into the final Rd, A wonderful opportunity for her to make it into the main draw of 1st Grand slam of the year. She plays a equal ranked player in the final Rd.

      Just finished with PanAm Weightlifting Championship. Looking forward to the first Boulder World Cup this weekend. The Relay Championships will be good, too.  Might catch some of the W 3x3 action, too. Unfortunately the Ft. Lauderdale Open (Swimming) doesn't have a good stream.   (Might go back and watch the Oceania Weightlifting Championship.)

      So CAN & AUS are auto Q into the semis   SWE v SCO and ITA v JPN are the two qualifiers tomorrow morning. and then the two semis are tomorrow evening.  Medal matches on Sunday.   NZL v FRA and HUN v FIN to avoid the drop to the B division next year.    Unfortunately, not seeing any FTA coverage anywhere.
