Dalwinder Singh 20yrs old Indian has reached the finals of the ITF F3  India tournament and would meet Vishnu in the finals...If he wins he would be in top 800 a jump from 1600 start of this year. If he looses too he would in top 1050. A new face for the future of tennis.

Sudha Singh creates NR in 3000m steeplechase....with 9:26.55 and came 7th in IAAf Diamond league....Lalitha babar had bad 13th with 9:43.30...

What a improvement by Sudha better her best by almost 5s...:clap::clap:

I agree completely and what a great result ...this is the 5th time in 2 years that the 3000 SC for women Indian national record has been broken and this  would create the need in babar to better it .....so expect her to really go ahead.......This is an awesome result for indian atheletics

India women’s team beat Hong Kong 2-1 while the men’s team lost to Pakistan 1-2 in the semifinals and settled for a bronze in the Asian team squash championship .

 

The results (semifinals):

Men: India 1 lost to Pakistan 2 [Velavan Senthilkumar lost to Farhan Mehboob 11-5, 11-5, 5-11, 11-5; Harinder Pal Sandhu bt Farhan Zaman 14-16, 11-8, 11-7, 10-12, 11-6; Kush Kumar lost to Tayyab Aslam 7-11, 13-11, 11-8, 13-15, 11-3].

Women: India 2 bt Hong Kong 1 [Sachika Ingale lost to Liu Tsz Ling 11-6, 11-7, 11-2; Joshna Chinappa bt Annie Au 11-7, 13-11, 11-4; Dipika Pallikal bt Joey Chan 10-12, 4-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-6].
