Kentucky 3-day event started today.

 

It will take some time to get used to these low dressage penalties, but alright.

Kentucky's atmosphere is great as usual.

 

Interestingly poor judgement from a lot of riders when it comes to 8 meter circles. Instead of being 2 meters away from the board they often almost touch it and make like 9,5 meter circle instead.

First day of Badminton Horse Trials. Not really excited this year, but we'll see... Pammy Hutton's commentary is as golden as always at least.

 

Nice to see Selena O'Hanlon continuing her excellent form of last year into new season. Hope she can keep it up in the next stages.

So, the very final rider out of 80 gets first 10s of the entire competition. How wonderfully inconsistent and... Convenient.

 

I do hope these corrupted eventing judges get replaced by robots. Soon.

Ah, yes, they did.

 

They removed the dressage coefficient for 2018, so this score would be 36.1 (multiplied by 1,5) in "old money". It's still a great score no matter what currency.
