Puerto Rico have already claimed one of just 2 best 3rd placed spots already. In terms of the Round of 16: Albania (C1) will play the 3rd placed nation in Group A, B or F. With Iraq and Monaco already eliminated going into the final matchday in the group, it's left to South Africa, Costa Rica and Côte d'Ivoire to fight it out. Group leaders South Africa, who are still unbeaten and with a 100% record from their 3 games need just a draw against Costa Rica to ensure they claim top spot in the group. South Africa are already guaranteed to pass to the Round of 16 as a best 3rd-placed nation at the very least. Costa Rica on the otherhand will guarantee an automatic qualification place if they beat their African opponents and will also guarantee at least a best 3rd-place finish with a draw..
