WBC starts this week, and Team USA has exhibitions against the Giants and Rockies in the next couple of days.

As far as LA28 is concerned...

 

We're already qualified by being host country.

The top two teams (besides us) from the WBC will qualify.

Two more come from Premier12 in November 2027.

The final team comes from a final OQT in 2028-ish.

Also...since when does it cost $70 to go to a baseball game?  That's how much it would cost to go see the exhibition match today...and to sit in the lawn out past the home run wall.  Like not even for a seat.  Ridiculous.

I went back and checked the doc, and it looks like it's the top 2 from the Americas from WBC, and Premier12 will give us the top one from Asia and Europe/Oceania.  The final OQT has some continental restrictions.

I think that’s just because it’s USA. I checked prices for some of the WBC games that will be played in USA and the prices are very affordable.

9 pm, 3 pm on a work day and 10 pm on a weeknight
