What`s about Poland? They have changed a lot over the past 3 years: from very pro-Ukraine to a fairly quite neutral country, from what I can see from the public mood there. Italy, of course, has always been quite pro-Russia, unfortunately.

I think noone can answer such a question correctly from abroad )

Poland is deeply divided, primarily along the lines of large cities versus rural areas, and also along the lines of west versus east. From what I know, the east part of country doesn't exactly get along with Ukraine.

Not surprised, we'd probably get a similar vote from IOC members.

They might hold off to see what happens in 2026 in terms of boycotts, but at this rate I expect them to fully return by LA28.

It just shows difference of the decisions from the General Assenly (IPC) and Executive Board (IOC).
IPC voting included votes from public organizations and regional and international federations.

We are really not surprised too given the level of russian pressure/money involved.

I just know that russia spends a lot of money on anti-Ukrainian propaganda in the Eastern Europe.

The numer of fakes is enormous. For example - such an absurd like: the swans disappered from Prague because they were eaten by Ukrainians...

Actually vice- Prime Minister of Italy - It was 6 years ago, but if such idiots rule in our countries, I think that even money from Moscow is not needed here:wall:- or maybe he talks like that because he has been paid for years?

We are still very pro-Ukraine. There is rising pseudo-neutral anti-Ukraine, anti-EU and anti-Israel populistic party but it still has no power, they only bark loud and the social media make it look bigger than it actually is.

Ukrainian minister of sports: "Today it became known that a former member of the European Parliament from Great Britain received bribes for supporting Russia's positions."

Does this come with any more, or just "it became known" and that's that? :p

This man- Mentzen was third in the last election and decided who would win in the II round in Poland. He looks like a "Polish" Salvini to me, though even he doesn't currently have more than 10% support in Italy, becouse Meloni eat him:lol:
