so, after 5 of 6 gamedays, we already have (only) 7 teams mathematically through to the knockout stage

 

meanwhile there are still 11 teams fighting for the last 9 spots (the 2 teams with 5 points are not officially out, but their chances are just theoretical)

 

the most surprising/amazing situation is that, if the RS ended Today, the reigning champions  Genève-Servette would be eliminated 

 

the thrilling RS finale is scheduled for the next week, on Tuesday and Wednesday 15th and 16th of October

so, after the first stint of games in the last gameday, the number of teams qualified to the knockout stages has increased to 12, meaning that there are still 4 places to be confirmed in the 2nd stint of the last gameday (Today)

 

defending champions,  Genève-Servette, have just saved themselves with Yesterday's win in Hungary

 

now the biggest upset might be  Dynamo Pardubice being eliminated, after reaching the semifinals in the previous campaign
