 avoid disaster from 2-0 up and win their opening match over at VNL, finishing it off with a 15-4 drubbing in the 5th set

 

Johnson with 8 points during that 5th set, she had a rocket of an arm and was just unstoppable. Don’t believe she made a single error either. 

 

Van Ryk doing her job in the absence of Gray with 26 points 
 

Thokbuom with a debut to remember, incredibly impressed with her performance today. Definitely will be keeping an eye on her in the future.

 was always going to be a tossup and  are 9-23 since 2023 I’d say  were the favourites (especially with Herbots back)

agree, the poland china was 50/50, but i said favourites based purely on betting apps
