Don’t know how popular this will be, but decided to make a thread for this years YOG. I’m not familiar on any of our athletes, maybe someone who follows youth sport can go over our medal chances?

Charlie Beatty (the flagbearer) is the defending World Champion. A lot of the other sports have NOT picked the best athletes. So we shall see.

Badl uck across the board, with the best ex. being in women's snowboard Cross. One of the two women lost out a place in the SF by a tiebreaker unreal.

First win for Canada in mixed team curling, as they defeat Brazil 14-0.

Canada improve to 2-2 (8-3 loss to Italy in their first match, and 6-3 loss to Great Britain in their third match) after an important 6-5 win over Switzerland!

Since I was bored, I decided to go over all the remaining Canadian medal chances. Without further ado;

All four of our athletes in men’s  freestyle skiing/snowboard slopestyle are through to the final, with Charlie Beatty (freestyle skiing) and Eli Bouchard (snowboarding qualifying in first place! Hoping for our first gold of Gangwon 2024 today
