Why Zuzana Stefecekova will not participate in Rio. It seems that she is in good shape. Is it due to zika virus?

Yes. Zuzana Stefecekova is pregnant.

no. she returned the quota last year, in July I think..right after the european champs in Maribor At that time no one knew nothing about the virus yet ..so its definitely not because of Zika.

 

She was so happy that she got pregnant, she said that she is not sure in which form she will be after the prgnancy only few weeks before the OG, because of big lack of trainings.. now she participated in this years europeans only because helping Slovak team in the team event

she is shocked as she said that she actually won in fact without trainings..but well, we can´t do anything now, we changed the quota earlier and so Zuzana will not start

It is pitty. She was really medal chance.

yes, sure. but we can understand her, it´s her first child, she already won for us so many medals and bring us so many successes that I just can´t count them. so we have to wish here just all the best, nevermind she will skip this olympics, this is shooting she can win medals in let say 2 next olympics
