Journalists really need to learn not to interview three teenage girls at the same time in a situation like this. KCBS/KCAL is doing just that and the girls - of course shaken up - are all rambling non-stop in-between each other so instead of understanding at least one of them, it's made entirely impossible to understand anything at all.

ABC is doing a bit better with their witnesseses. Oddly enough, a lone photographer got the best interviews so far. Kids clearly wanting to talk, and willing to share what happened.

I depend entirely on CNN (International) and what they're showing though :p

Although I'm probably turning it off, because it's all the same as the hundred previous ones. Undoubtedly followed by thoughts, prayers, a poem here or there and people saying "Now we are really fed up with it!". Possibly resulting in a protest here or there, which then eventually dies down, until the next one.

Don’t forget about blaming video games, millennials, Joker (the movie), and then talking about the good guys with guns and how it could have been worse.

And of course politicians coming in and immediately using this to try and push their voter ratings over the backs of shooting victims. Like what's already started on CNN.

As it should. The democrats need to capitalize on this. We need to make sure the century knows who advocating for change. Shootings are political now, that’s why I usually go straight to the politics thread now.

When Republicans push their agenda over the bodies of victims of whatever, it's horrible.

When Democrats push their agenda over the bodies of victims of whatever, it's fine.

What a world.

Well at least there’s plenty of victims to use. If 1 person dies, oh well. If 5 people die, oh well. More will follow, we’ll move on. At least we can push an agenda.
