I know. However I have to admit that I am not a fan of this. I really Rarely watch/follow the all-stars weekend

I must admit, I stopped caring about the all-star game about 8 years ago :p. Though the skills competition format seems to be more interesting this year so maybe I'll tune in for a bit to watch that.

I have to admit, I didn’t have high hopes either, but this edition of the skills challenge turned out better than I expected.

Petey won the Passing Challenge, Hughes beat Makar by 0.001 for fastest d-man in the Fastest Skater Challenge, and a nice 6th for Millsy in his all-star debut :yes

McDavid ended up winning it, including the final event which he designed (The Obstacle Course Challenge, which counted for double points) so it would’ve been pretty embarrassing to see him place anywhere other than first. Only event where he did bad was the Goalie Challenge (where he got one of the easiest goalies in Georgiev and still only managed to score 3 points)

Commentators were glazing him like crazy though, had to mute my TV whenever they mentioned him.

Kucherov was dreadful, looked like he didn’t give a f*ck.

Also Slaf experienced last night his first multi goals NHL game :)

1st goal over another Slovak Martin Feherváry... Fehy was eaten here :( At least Feherváry had also an assist and was agains the second most used blueliner of his team

and 2nd of the night for Slaf. A Ovechkin against Ovechkin in Ovechkin DC. Nice :p

From Slovak view Worth to mention also Šimon Nemec with another nice goal assist for New Jersey

and Martin Pospíšil knocking out Brad Marchand (yeah :p ) ended by a major and game penalty though

Slaf with another new pb. His first 3 points match in NHL last night against Anaheim.

2 ridiculous goal assists and 1 goal.

It was his 6th consecutive match with points which means he now tie the all-time club record set by a teenager in Montreal history

Last night was generally pretty nice from :SVK view

Goal scored also by our Tampa-Bay "Drago" Erik Černák in Boston

and worth to mention also the winning penalty shootout from Tomáš tatar for Seattle against NY Islanders
