Asian TT championships starting on 3rd Sep in Pyeongchang 

 

Quota places up for grabs in Teams ( Men & Women) & Mixed Doubles .

Only winners qualify . In all probability it will be  who will qualify teams in both men, women & mixed doubles. 

Interesting   to see how we perform especially in mixed doubles where we are ranked 8th in the World. As we may qualify via the world tournament or ranking route too.

Hope we can defeat Chinese Taipei team, but the title and quota are not even in my dreams.

Yes, if we can make the final and be the 2nd best team in Asia that will be an achievement and big boost to qualify from the team world qualifiers next year. But hey! Its sports so anything can happen

Both XD pairing are out in R32 . 
 

Manika/Sathiyan lost to the  pair. 

Their high rankings in XD is not worthy of their performance here.

With that our quest for qualification ends in this championships. 

We still have singles & doubles events to go in this Asian championships.
