But these are only the maximum numbers that are theoretically possible, i.e. as Brazil and France still have three surfers in the competition they could still end up with the places 1-3. But as two Brazilian surfers are already in the repechage, they will need to be survive 6 further repechage rounds to reach the final.

Quota Olympic??
And your third Surfer also qualified for Round 6
So I think it is very likely that you will win the team quota as well. I think only Brazil could qualify 3 surfers in Top8, but two of them are already in the repechage

Quota Olympic??
I think so. Round 6 is Top8 guaranteed and there are at least two athletes which already have the quota (including Kauli Vaast), so Joan Duru should have the quota as well.

Isauro Elizondo
Vasco Ribeiro

(quota from 2019 goes to Leandro Usuna

Shun Murakami and Hiroto Ohhara for one quota
(if Shun qualifies, the quota from 2019 goes to Rio Waida
)
And the two qualified from last heat
So it`s 12 surfers competing for the 5 tickets. So we won`t have a decision after repechage 8. Perhaps it will be decided in repechage 9.
ExpandWho loses on this round is going to Repechage round 8. We will have 12 surfers on this phase of competition
Plus, 6 surfers from Main round.
18 Surfers.... If I am not wrong. 7 surfers cannot grab quotas... so 11 surfers yet for 5 spots.
So basically a lot will be decided by Repechage round 8. 6 further surfer will leave the tournament, so it will be 12 surfers for 5 spots after this run.
If the 7 surfers that cannot grab quotas are still in after repechage 8, the remaining 5 surfers will win the quota.
3 Japanese and 2 French are still in main round, so they are Top12 anyway. Who are the other two surfers with a safe quota?

The current repechage round (Repechage 7) could be deciding as both Brazilian Surfers are in the same heat.
If both advances their chances are still alive, if they end in third and fourth place their chances are gone.
If only one of them advances it will be difficult to win the team quota and they will need a small miracle.
