ExpandIs anyone actually seriously buying these Chinese performances at these Paralympics? I know there's always a host nation boost and China will inevitably have invested a lot in winter parasports in the last four years, but I genuinely can't see a legitimate way you can go from only having 1 Winter Paralympic medal in your entire history to 18 golds and 59 medals. I don't know what's going on (dodgy classification system seems to be a likelihood) but I don't buy it.

It's just a farce. Not only did the Ukrainians not go through acclimatization as they should, but also some Chinese nonames, who never took medals anywhere, take gold from Lyashenko and Rad

Yeah, I'd be shocked if they didn't enter a medley team, especially where it comes in the program. By that stage it isn't like any of the likely swimmers will have another event to prioritise, unless Evans decides to do the 50 (which she didn't even take part in this week. Shame about the mix up for the 4x100 free, although I wouldn't be surprised if that team goes (although whether they will take Taylor is more debateable). You'll have Okaro, Anderson, Colbert there anyway, along with Wood and Hope. If they don't enter it, you have to imagine it is because of workload issues more than anything else. The mixed free relay is the only one that you would say is really doubtful, especially not being an Olympic event. But even then you've probably got enough swimmers there to field a team if they want to. -

Are you sure? I thought that from next year there is going to be two groups with sama level. Sth as Canada, Czechia, Switzerland, Germány, Austria in one group and others in the another group -

They corrected that afterwards. Freya Anderson ahd to be told she hadn’t qualified the 4x100 but had qualified the mixed. -

the Australian Open Champs just started in Brisbane Thomas Ceccon was 1st (with an all-comers record, 23.00) in the men's 50m fly heats and also swam and qualify for the A final in the men's 200m back (5th best, 2.00.54) -
