Well, this is going to complicate things for us as some results might need to be scrubbed.

I think it's desperation, Brazil is under a lot of pressure with the recent results, and against Argentina maybe he wanted to show something to the fans. But I agree that it was quite exaggerated.
Now I'll have to endure another week of "if Neymar was there it would be different"...
