ExpandWoverhampton Wanderers called themselves 2018/19
champions, but it is probably too late to organize a city "champions" gala parade
Well,if the Super League had been invented in the 1950s they might be as big a club as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus today...
Mourinho was only fired because he kept losing games...
ExpandInteresting statistic:
This was only the third loss for Germany in World Cup qualification history. The previous two were against Portugal (0:1 in 1985) and England (1:5 in 2001). Both losses were at home too and both times (1986 and 2002) Germany made the World Cup Final afterwards.
Another statistic.
Germany or West Germany have played 211 qualification games for the World Cup, European Championships or European Nations League and only lost 16 times.
Only the Netherlands and Northern Ireland have ever beaten them twice. Uniquely Northern Ireland did it home and away in the same tournament (Euro 1984)

One small exception is Scotland, where one English team plays - Berwick Rangers - who are about 70km from the nearest other English team. I think there’s also N.Irish teams playing in the Irish system. But obviously all this is because the four British systems existed long before any other organistion.
And one English team playing in the Welsh system

That's incorrect. Halaand already had severe issues with the other knee and would have stopped playing soon afterwards regardless of this tackle. Plus he was the one who mocked Keane and accused him of faking when Kean tore his ACL back in 1997.
Doesn't change the fact that Keane behaved like a thug and a coward with that tackle though
I'm not really a Liverpool fan but my first memory of a European final was Liverpool winning the European Cup so It's always fun to see them win another one #neverwalkalone
ExpandWell it's a miracle Erling Håland kept both legs after the match... Honduran players are the dirtiest in CONCACAF.
Total humiliation for this U-20 squad, probably the biggest win in the history of this competition
It's lucky Roy Keane hasn't got a son who plays for Honduras.

Wolves beat Honved in 1954, a year after Hungary had smashed England at Wembley, when both teams were national championships.
Wolves won 3-2 but it might have helped that the pitch was a heap of mud...
