Vinesh is going to miss out on the medal! Potentially a gold one
Swapnil Kusale qualifies for the men's 50m rifle 3 positions Final
ExpandYessss

Manu creates history our first multiple medalist in a single Olympics
![]()
馃for us in 10m AP mixed
Actually Norman Pritchard was the first Indian to win multiple medals at a single Olympics when he won two silver medals in 1900 (under British rule). Manu is the first to it in independent India though. Unreal achievement nonetheless
ExpandI think what people have missed here is that we have 3 shooters reaching individual finals already. We had just 2 in Rio and 1 in Tokyo. This is itself should be a redemption of what hard work NRAI has done
And we still have some of our strongest events in the mixed 10m Air pistol, women's 25m pistol and women's 50m Rifle 3 positions still to go!!!
And Sarabjot at 31/33!!!
Not a good start in the 10m men's Air pistol qualification for us.
ExpandGreat start to the Olympics!!
India finish 3rd in men's team ranking round
Will face Italy/Kazak in quarter's and probably France (or Columbia/Turkey) in semis.
3rd will play 6th right? Hence will face Turkey/Colombia in quarters.
ExpandDid the boxing seeds come out? Can you share the boxing seeds?
Never mind found it. Lovlina is facing Li Qian in the Quarterfinals. I would say chances of medals are near 0 because of that
Lovlina did beat Li Qian in the world championship in Delhi on her way to the gold medal... And recently lost on a 2-3 split decision against her at the Czech Republic Grand Prix. So, maybe there is some hope after all 馃
I'm also pretty much on the same page, but less optimistic about our chances in shooting. Also, I was big on Lovlina's chances in boxing but she has a difficult draw in the QF.
What are everyone's final predictions for our medal tally?
1 gold 2 silver 3 bronze is my prediction...
With Neeraj, Nikhat, Sat-Chi.. the favourites to medal.
