I'm annoyed because Venezuela will have like 20 more opportunities for future Olympics, for Canada this is going to be our best chance in the next couple decades. Not pleased. -

lol everything for Canada has been disappointing this year. Add on for me being a Maple Leafs, Patriots, Blue Jays and Wolverhampton fan these last few months haven't been great. At least curling has been great. Happy for the best team qualified and will make for some entertaining games in LA. The fact that Canada were even this close to qualifying is great though and the future is bright. -

This is first time that Samurai Japan has failed to reach the semifinals at the World Baseball Classic. Not surprising given how shaky they looked during the group stage. -
Totally. but we can also say it was super odd that Japan and Korea had to fly around the world to play in 3 days difference. I understand it was amazing for part of the first round to be played there: Nippon had full house, it made it easier for Korean, Taiwanese and Australian fans... but perhaps 3 days was a short notice for that.
