  2. I couldn't watch the race. Could someone please tell me what Peťa looked like during the race, I mean, yes I know the result, she was leading after run 1 apparently and crashed in the upper part of the run 2, but I am asking about the feeling from her overall style and look. was it better than in Soelden ?

  4. Anyway even if we pass Ireland (which is the worst possible opponent we could have wanted btw ) the draw once again was not in our favor, the final match of our path will have to be played in or Would be great to qualify, but honestly, I do not believe we will succeed. until the coach will finally forgives Vlado Weiss, dammit ! asshole or not ! we need this guy ! and rapidly find someone to Škriniar in the CB pair because after Škrteľ and Ďurica retirements, this post is our major issue now, guys like Vavro or Valjent are just sifters

  9. Something like 24 hours before the start of the new season in Wisla. Let´s start with a small quick preview This time we will have 36 races, including the prestigeous 4 Hills Tournaments in Germany and Austria during the new years holidays period. The whole world cup 2019/20 edition will finish in Vikersund 14th and 15th March, one week later Planica will host the Ski Flying World Championships (20.-22. March) to close the whole season. Ryoyu Kobayashi will enter the season as the big globe defender and will try to be the only second ski jumper in history to win the world cup back to back two years in a row after the legendary finn Janne Ahonen. To achieve that the japanese will need to get as close as possible to his previous season´s shape which he completely dominated. He confirmed his dominance of the season also by winning all 4 hills tournament races (After Sven Hannawald and Kamil Stoch only the third jumper in history with this perfect record) The Austrian Stefan Kraft, who finished second in the last season, should be one of the most serious opponents of the Japanese in the overall ranking. + Traditionally the strong Poles, Norwegians and German ski jumpers willl be certainly the other world cup big globe contenders. The Germans under the austrian coach Stefan Horngacher will have anyway to miss this whole season their PC 2018 Normal Hill Olympic champion Andreas Wellinger due knee injury but are waiting for the return of Severin Freund from last years major injuries, his come back is expected already this december. 2019/20 WC Season: 23.-24.11. 10. I am at 100% for the old system. I think biathlon should remains as it actually is. even maybe returning to it´s real roots, pity it´s looking more and more clear that the real biathlon "the individual" is going to die soon.. Also Modern Pentathlon was actually the real modern pentathlon in the past when the competition lasted complete 5 days ! I think I already wrote it somewhere here before, when I was reading as a young child during the summer holidays at my grandpas house a book of the Seoul 1988 olympics, I remember the part about modern pentathlon, which started with a joke between two journalists. The first one asking "hey, do you know, which olympic competition currently lasts the longest ? Marathon ? 50km Race walk or road cycling race ?" the other journalist answered "I know it´s a trap from you, none of them, the answer is the Modern Pentathlon Fencing part" In fact the fencing started around 06:00AM to finish around midnight. and the next day the athletes had to return to the stadium again for swimming. Nowadays MP with that combined event to finish it is so sad. at least for me. Poor Coubertin
  11. Just found this ! The confirmed information is now on every our news sites Kris Versteeg just signed a contract for the rest of this season to HK Nitra !!! That so huge ! I can not believe that I will be able to watch him playing https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/hockey/news/kris-versteeg-finishing-with-family/
  12. Nah, we can blame only ourselves, we had everything in our own hands in the match vs Wales, we messed it up completely, one of our best matches in ages but couldn´t score that winner, now we are just paying for that. Anyway as I already said, the situation when we needed a help from other teams never worked for us in any sport, so nothing new, we are used to that

  18. yes. But anyway, a day when also my parents showed tremendous courage and with millions of other similarly courageous peoples in both parts of the country helped to bring for me and the whole czech and slovak nations the freedom . It´s a gift one must respect, commemorate and celebrate despite any circumstances. people who did not live under such a harsh communist regime cannot even imagine what was going on here. For us it is a very important day to commemorate.
