  1. Fun Fact was released by our Olympic Committee on its site today. I had no idea about it as well. It is exactly 50 years since last time a European player was in the W Singles World Championship Final, and believe it or not it was a Slovak player (under Czechoslovakia at that time obviously) Photo (Courtesy of SOŠV Slovak NOC website): In 1973 at the Sarajevo World Champs Alica Grofová faced Chinese Hu Yulan in the W Singles Final, Who would have thought at that day that for the next half of Century it will be the last European appearance in this discipline Gold Medal Match at the WCh.
  2. Yes, it should be fine this time... but due to the experience from the previous Olympics, well, we will still remain in alert if you do not mind until the very end. He also had Tokyo basically during the entire qualification in the bag but somehow finally lost that quota in the very last race by a couple of silly places in the semi-finals

  15. Jakub Borguľa confirmed today his incredible start of his first career Junior season finishing 5th in the Sprint in Ridnaun and believe it or not, but the kid is really still leading the whole World Cup ... I do not understand, is this some sort of intergalactical coincidence of circumstances in this season first trimester or do we really actually have some hopes in this sport for the future ?

  22. It happens quite rarely, but happened time to time, mainly in the past
  23. Here is the last Minute and half of the match The main problem was I think with the graphics which did not show the 3rd goal, instead just kept by mistake the wrong score 2:3, it happens sometimes. But yeah 20 seconds to go, that was a clear foul, A Tripping at its pure finest, an encyclopedical one, I do not know what the refs were doing here, Thinking about whether they have their christmas gifts already prepared or not ? Should be sanctioned by the directoriate later for not calling this foul though I guess
  24. No back to back WCh finals. Rišo missed the final for 3 points this time Anyway this 10th place bring another very valuable points to the Olympic Qualifiers. Will be really tough to qualify, but hopefully this time it will really happen ! #InParis24WeTrust I still remember how he lost his quota for Tokyo at the very last race by some points...
