  1. Yup, I think they might not want to reveal too much before the Olympics.
  2. Mixed 10m Synchro Final Results China 353.82 North Korea 303.96 Mexico 296. 15 Full Final Result HERE
  3. Women's Solo Technical Final Results Evangelia PLATANIOTI 272.9633 Jacqueline SIMONEAU 269.2767 Huiyan XU 262.3700 Full Final Result HERE
  4. Yessssss! Golden medal for Platanioti, amazing! I'm so happy, she deserved that in her career. PLATANIOTI IS THE WORLD CHAMPION
  5. A total disaster for Alexandri, numerous errors and a low D score baseline. It really hurts to see her in tears at the poolside
  6. Not a brilliant performance for the Chinese Xu; it might not be enough to secure a spot on the podium
  7. Unfortunately, I had read about the Ukrainian team's story, and I can imagine how challenging it must be to train with hearts full of pain and minds elsewhere. But I must also say that it's not the first year the team hasn't trained in Kharkiv, and I had seen the girls both in Fukuoka and especially during the World Cup. I had never seen such marked errors, an unprecedented distraction in the water. In fact, during the World Cup, they had performed quite well. I hope the Ukrainian girls recover in the three team events; they truly deserve to go to Paris. And above all, Slava Ukraine!
  8. Finally, it's time for the first medal event of these championships! Certainly, all eyes will be on Platanioti, seeking her first world gold. After many disappointments and a few stolen medals, it would be a truly fitting culmination for her. Also in the medal mix are Alexandri, Simoneau, and Xu. In the opening group, the weaker one in terms of placements, keep an eye on Steenbeek and Hoevertzs; I expect two really interesting routines.
  9. Women's 10km Final Results Sharon VAN ROUWENDAAL 1:57:26.80 Maria DE VALDES 1:57:26.90 Angelica ANDRE 1:57:28.20 Full Final Result HERE
  10. Seems that van Rouwendaal isn't in her best shape...
  11. I think she have almost the same ties with Monaco and Mongolia Until past year, she was French.
  12. Many mistakes for the Greek pair, a pity that the judges seemed to turn a blind eye. The water level position was significantly different and consistently dropping; perhaps the last hybrid deserved a penalty. By the way, 2nd place for them.
  13. It was a good routine, slightly overpaid. Honestly, I don't think they're podium-worthy in the final, but it's an excellent performance for their level
  14. WTF HAPPNED?! Total debacle, indeed. Errors in leg elements, lack of synchronization... A disaster. I'm truly sorry, but I've never seen something so negative from the Ukrainians. It's more like what you'd expect from Morocco or second-tier Caribbean nations. The good news is that Uzbekistan is in the final
  15. It's a shame. I don't agree, honestly. Portugal advances to the final, meaning Uzbekistan is out. Completely undeserved; I feel so sorry for the Uzbek girls.
  16. Frankly, I don't understand Brazil's strategy, which only serves to demotivate athletes when they see the scores. It makes no sense to propose such a complex routine when the athletes can't execute the elements cleanly, essentially the exact opposite of the Cuban strategy. Going from a D score of 35 to 28, it's disheartening
  17. Beautiful routine for Canada, with Lamothe and especially Simoneau. Leading with a highly complex set of elements. They could aim for the podium.
  18. One of the ugliest competitions I've witnessed; usually, with these dives, you'd need binoculars to spot the podium. If I checked correctly, it's the lowest score in history for winning gold in the 1m springboard.
  19. Women's 1m Spingboard Final Results Alysha KOLOI 260.50 Grace REID 257.25 Maha AMER 257.15 Full Final Result HERE
