    Not if last year was any indication, Eurosport had zero for the Youth Olympics. I think we're overestimating how many broadcasters are interested in showing something like this. And yes, not much against curling, but I find it highly unfair to have so much attention for it (and figure skating and ice hockey) when a boatload of core Olympic sports are entirely ignored, literally.

    And in the final race Marcel Bosker first takes off his cap to maybe try and cool down a little and then he just stood up and stopped (until his coach told him to keep going). Painful.

    Like every half-decent speed skating fan I mean, there aren't going to be more epic races than those world champs in Inzell where the snow was falling, or basically any race in between the mountains in Medeo. From the inside all those indoor venues look sort of the same.

    Trust me, it's not better Kazakhstan has one great venue and that's Medeo, as long as they don't lose their mind and build a roof over it.

    I looked at a picture of how to tie a Windsor knot for 15 minutes and then my brain started to melt, so I gave up..

    What a weird sport it is anyway, Suzanne Schulting pretty much pushed out a Chinese skater in the last lap of the women's relay semis.........and China got DQ'd for exactly what Schulting actually did

    Strange, generally that is the exact reason why there is a B final. In fact, the Dutch women won Olympic bronze because they won the B final (in a WR) last year and got promoted after DQ's in the A final.

    100th individual WC podium for Johaug, yay. Well, if you count the doubles (like a pursuit + overall standings in all kinds of tours).

    This is very hopeful: Frenchman from 1996 who made the switch to ice only a bit over a year ago and had his first ever 10k today....impressive! Also: Tumolero is back, wow! Sure, it's B-division so a little bit 'easier' to have a good time there, but still, that's some impressive stuff.
