So, Oestberg and Weng have started the last stage. The others are slowly starting to wake up, get some breakfast, go to the course, start preparing their skis and doing their warm-ups and then get ready to start. -

Time for Danny Noppert, last year's runner-up. His mom died a week ago on New Year's Eve (also his birthday), so he's playing for her now. I hope he manages something special

Stefan Effenberg just almost suddenly hit double 1 for the match (he plays with Max Hopp), but lost against Rob Cross and Fernanda Brandao

My main fear with these events is that it will end up taking away the events that have made speed skating speed skating for so long. Short track skating is a different sport than long track and so is mass start or these events where people are riding together. 100% against it
