  1. 175 points for Jill, improving even more on yesterday's huge PB
  2. I'm tracing your posts and activity as we speak.
  3. According to German TV, the Czechs will have a press conference on 15 January to announce their Olympic team and talk about Koukalova's immediate future. I doubt we're gonna see her in Pyeongchang..
  4. I will take that bet sir.
  5. So, Oestberg and Weng have started the last stage. The others are slowly starting to wake up, get some breakfast, go to the course, start preparing their skis and doing their warm-ups and then get ready to start.
  6. 0+1 for Jill, this might very well be another 180 point result
  7. Klara Livk to 18th place with bib 50, never made a second run before
  8. Jill starting with clean prone
  9. 1. Kaisheva 2. K Horchler +1.6 3. Nicolaisen +1.7 (and that's all with clean shooting, N Horchler was around one penalty loop behind with one miss)
  10. Just like Shiffrin apparently. Shiffrin doing this while not feeling 100% is kinda scary
  11. Let's wait and see, yesterday she was supposed to be in Campra but didn't start
  12. That was not very good Petra
  13. 1. Shiffrin 2. Haver-Loeseth +2.94
  14. Still weird to go ranting about 'always the same linesmen' when in the last five years or so this is only the second time you play there
  15. Unbelievable.
  16. Duuuuuuude. One of the best ever matches on Lakeside, a Lithuanian for crying out loud was in it, and you weren't watching? For shame sir, for shame!
  17. Mitchell finishes it off and immediately runs (literally) off the stage It seriously looked like he really needed to go and take a dump
  18. Both throwing well over 100 average, Labanauskas even was at 111+ after one and a half set, what is happening?
  19. Scott Scotty Dog Mitchell vs Darius Labanauskas, I'm sure @Werloc and the entire country have come to a grinding halt to watch their hero do battle.
  20. Noppert is playing brilliantly
  21. This is getting worrying Some moderator accidentally sat down on his delete button or something?
  22. Time for Danny Noppert, last year's runner-up. His mom died a week ago on New Year's Eve (also his birthday), so he's playing for her now. I hope he manages something special
  23. For those with time to kill, the 'Profi WM' on German TV http://freetvstream.in/de/tv/pro7.php The format: couples of one professional player plus one 'celebrity'. Stefan Effenberg just almost suddenly hit double 1 for the match (he plays with Max Hopp), but lost against Rob Cross and Fernanda Brandao
  24. Fun side note: Hedman wants all women's matches to go from best of 3 to best of 5 sets. Yeah.....no thanks
  25. My main fear with these events is that it will end up taking away the events that have made speed skating speed skating for so long. Short track skating is a different sport than long track and so is mass start or these events where people are riding together. 100% against it
