  1. He played the three russian winning sets (rested during the first - lost - one), scoring 17 points. Quite influent, I'd say.
  2. Nah, you don't understand, it's a "disgusting" performance because of Gregory Baugé no show four years ago (makes total sense, trust me). If only, we had a good old russian/italian/ukranian/whaterver "clean" performance to save the day.
  3. Even for the FIVB, option 2 is too ridiculous to be agreed.
  4. Ok, then it's either nothing or Russia out of Rio. So, really, it means that nothing will happen.
  5. Do we know if he was caught after the semi or the final ? If the latter, FIVB could simply decide on Russia's forfet for the final only. Meaning that Russia would still have a great chance to qualifie for Rio and the FIVB could keep on pretending they care about anti-doping.
  6. According to l'Equipe, Markin was only controlled twice during te Olympic Qualification Tournament. According to FIVB new rules, it could mean that Russia might end up dsiqualified. But, hey, it's the FIVB and Russia, so I assume they will find a trick not to follow their own rules.
  7. http://www.wired.com/2016/03/meldonium-became-doping-drug-choice/ "It's weird" . Euphemism of the year.
  8. The new one, by a mile. The new software makes it 1000x (literally, I've counted, trust me) better than the previous one. Mandatory results were always a big annoyance which serve little to no purpose (I've little memory, but no the point to forget the results of the race I've watched just 5 minutes ago).
  9. Honnestly, they deserved it. Ok, maybe not the hate (if it really came to 'hate'), but at least to be mocked. That game against Croatia was the biggest choking I've ever witnessed
  10. Poor Nordic combined, even figure skating managed to score a couple of points As far as I'm concerned: 1. Ice Hockey 2. Biathlon 3. Alpine Skiing
  11. There was no insult in my previous message ("yeah, right" is not an insult, jeez, calm down) You have a great memory, I'll give you that. Yet, that's hardly making for a very conclusive list. You have two "no show" athletes (the two only heavy weights on your list), two second tier athletes and one horse over two or three years. Beaware Russia, we are comming. You'll easily find a list of doping cases from other euro countries that tops the list you gave me for France (Ballan, Schwazer, Cunego, Ulissi for Italy for exemple). But that's beyond the point. France doesn't have more (or less) of a doping problem that other western european countries (with probably the exception of Spain), and you'll need much, much more evidence that Baugé and Tamgho no shows to prove otherwise. If anything, because athletes getting caught only mean they are too stupid (or too poor) to have been caught in the first place. A athlete (or a nation) not been caught is not a proof of cleaness
  12. You don't want France to win any medal becauses of the "many doping cases in different sports", but you hope for a Russian to win a medal... Yeah, right... And what do you mean by "many doping cases in different sports" anyway ? A bunch of cases in athletics (still a shit load less than Wierer's Italy for instance) and a few here and there, including no show violations and none beeing biathlon related or even winter sports related ? Welcome back anyway (even with the same silly arguments )
  13. That country wich is not Slovenia ?
  14. Not a bad start
  15. Great, great race so far
  16. Tean France: (as of 4th of march) Men: Long Jump : Kafétien Gomis Pole Vault : Renaud Lavillénie Decathlon: Kevin Mayer 20 km walk: Yoan Diniz 4*100 Women: Pole Vault: Vanessa Boslak Marathon: Christelle Daunay 4*400 French Qualification standards
  17. It's much, much better.
  18. Beatrix (Fra) is not going to race the sprint/pursuit. He is remplaced by Simon Desthieux.
  19. Have you tried webarchive ? They might have a few thread saved.
