  4. meanwhile Today destroyed in game #7 and edged out in a high scoring matchup that was closer than many people might expect in game #8 won by 137 runs, as they scored 364/9 in 50 overs in the first inning, meanwhile only managed to score 227 runs/all out in 48+ overs game details https://www.cricketworldcup.com/match/102754 won by 6 wickets, scoring 345/4 in 48.2 overs in the second inning as an answe to the 344/9 in 50 overs recorded by in the opening stint game details https://www.cricketworldcup.com/match/102756 Tomorrow, game #9 will be on stage in New Delhi: Host Nation will face at 10.30 a.m. CET
  5. still, it's so big that it looked empty however, it's true that in the second inning more people entered the stadium (when the temperature went down a bit)
  6. A) men: 61, 89, 102; women: 49, +81 and one between 71 or 81 B) given that are already out, I'd say no, almost every Nation has 3 or less weight classes in which they are good enough to qualify, maybe the among the women, but I doubt they will have more than 3 in the end
  7. not so simple, then however, thanks! luckily I also have other chances to catch the games (and comfortably on TV rather than on a small phone screen)
  8. sport climbing, skateboarding and surf have become core sports they're in and will stay for a long time p.s. in LA sport climbing should finally have all of its 3 disciplines in their original version and get rid of the technically senseless combined event
  9. the 10-team World Cup is a technical choice, they could have invited/qualified way more than that West Indies are not such an issue...they will split into the single Nations normally being together under the WI Flag (and there will be at least 4 or 5 very competitive teams resulting from that) overs and runs are just like in baseball, only with a different format...the basic principles are not so complicated (Baseball has even more heavily impacting obscure rules to know before you can properly understand the game, tbh) that's not true...WBSC has 183 full members and 8 provisional members Baseball is played all over the world, even if the African Nations are not competitive and Europe is definitely not a dominant force (still, there are more good baseball teams than cricket's in the Old Continent)
  10. Regular Season Day 5, Part 1 Tuesday 10.10.2023 - Schedule* 17:30 HC Košice (SVK) - Skellefteå AIK (SWE) 17:30 Ilves Tampere (FIN) - Färjestad BK Karlstad (SWE) 19:30 ERC Ingolstadt (GER) - Växjö Lakers (SWE) 19:30 Red Bull Munich (GER) - Lukko Rauma (FIN) 19:45 Genève-Servette HC (SUI) - Dynamo Pardubice (CZE) 19:45 Rapperswil-Jona Lakers (SUI) - Tappara Tampere (FIN) 20:00 Belfast Giants (GBR) - Red Bull Salzburg (AUT) *All times CET Watch live Check here for details of live TV broadcasts: https://www.championshockeyleague.com/en/fans/where-to-watch All games are also live on the CHL website for free, subject to geo-blocking restrictions in certain countries due to TV rights.
  11. My 2 cents... teams you might have overestimated: Calgary, Winnipeg, Nashville, NY Islanders teams you might have underestimated: LA Kings (I hope, here I'm really biased ), Pittsburgh, Florida, Ottawa actually, Florida must have a great season because I just drafted a lot of their players, starting with Matt Tkachuk and the 2 between the pipes
  12. game #6, destroyed winning by 99 runs in the 1st inning, scored 322 runs, giving away 7 wickets in 50 overs, meanwhile the replied with only 223 runs, all out in 46.3 overs game details https://www.cricketworldcup.com/match/102753 Tomorrow it's time for another doubleheader, first vs at 7 a.m. CET in Dharamsala, then vs at 10.30 a.m. CET in Hyderabad
  13. did you enjoy the experience? naaa, even with a vpn, it asks me to subscribe
  14. Thomas Ceccon confirms he's in good shape and clocks 52.27 to win also the 100m backstroke now I'm really curious to see if he can improve in the next stage of the WC or if he starts feeling tired (which would be a natural thing at thispoint of the season)
  15. game #5, the great clash between and resulted in a disappointing underperformance by the Australian batsmen in the first inning, scoring the misery of 199 runs, all out in 49.3 overs so, despite a dramatic start of the second inning, finally settled down and did their job with the bats, scoring 201 runs in 41 overs (with only 4 wickets given up) (201/4, 41.2 overs) b. (199/all out, 49.3 overs) by 6 wickets game details https://www.cricketworldcup.com/match/102752 Tomorrow the 2nd gameday starts at 10.30 a.m. CET with facing the
  16. I have no idea how reliable these infos are the only thing I know, is the fact that the Italian federation is working hard to get Karate back into the Olympic schedule, but no public statement has never been released about this matter however, I've never been optimist about a chance for Karate, there are too many other sports with more mediatic favor that this IOC would consider before even thinking of Karate's return on the Olympic stage
  17. still, don't forget that Iran just won the U-21 world champs...there's a good chance that you still have a number of talented guys comin'up...just need to fix the coach's issue
  18. how much I'd like Italy to have a kind of policy...no world ranking backup, if you don't qualify on the field, no chance you get a spot and who cares if you're the reigning world champions I'm furious about how mentally weak our team has been this week...even more than the losses themselves
  19. finally, game #4 ended with winning by 102 runs (428/5 in 50 overs vs 326, all out in 45 overs) vs and also the total score is a new record in terms of runs scored (754) in a single match in the history of the World Cup game details https://www.cricketworldcup.com/match/102750 Tomorrow, it's time for the great clash between and in Chennai (10.30 a.m. CET)
  20. no, Asia will be represented by therefore there's no more reserved spot for that Continent it's going to be Africa and the 4 best teams not yet qualified with no continental restriction
  21. meanwhile, in game #3, easily beat by 6 wickets scored only 156 runs in 37 overs (all out); replied with 158/4 in just 34 overs game details https://www.cricketworldcup.com/match/102751 in game #4 (still underway), established a new record for the highest score ever in the ODI's World Cup, 428 runs (5 outs) in 50 overs bowlers just unwatchable; 2nd inning is running right now, but are basically hopeless
  22. not legally for the European viewers (except for GBR and IRL), the official provider is Yupp TV, which charges 25€ for the special pack covering the whole World Cup speaking of not so legal options, if you have a Firestick (or an Android TV), I can tell you that you can download (not from the official store) an app called Sportsfire, where you have all the channels you need for a full world of sports coverage (all the US and Canadian sports network, all Sky Sports from ITA to GER, UK and NZL , the Indian Star Sports, South African Supersports and many more) p.s. to be used absolutely under vpn coverage (and you also need some powerful broadband connection, because with vpn all these channels have some buffering issues with a weak wifi connection)
  23. Ceccon! I always said that he should swim regularly the 200m back, where basically he could easily win tons of world and olympic medals 2nd time he swims the distance, 3 secs improvment on his PB, last 50m in 28.50 (which means he could push for way faster splits in the first 150m and cut seconds off this clocking)
