it's because those 2 weights have been created by merging the old bantam+feather (it was 54 and 57) and the old Lightweights+light welterweights (it was 60 and 64) to cut from 10 to 8 the total number of weight classes... therefore, as they don't have an official name for the new classes, there's some confusion within the media, calling the new weights with one or the other old name indifferently... that's why I agree at 100% with @heywoodu...they should just name them by their actual weight limit and stop... I mean, the names are absolutely relative...for instance, to me 91kg are small men, just like flyweights

they only count results from the aiba sanctioned tournaments through the year...if you don't send a team there, you don't have any chance to be seeded at the world champs... and considering that most of those tournaments are spread around the world in some 3rd world Nations, it's quite obvious that many teams from Europe tend to skip those trips, meanwhile those Countries who host a tournament or benefit from the aiba developing program (that pays the travel tips to them) have a lot more chances, despite their fighters are not the best nor the most well known in our area...

back to normality, with 6 home wins out of 8 matches... and the German champions Adler Mannheim add to the list of teams already mathematically qualified to the knockout stage after only 4 rounds of play... now the Champions Hockey League takes a pause, leaving the center stage to the National Leagues, almost all of them set to begin in the next weekend... the Continental tournament will be back in October with Game Day #5 (8th and 9th) and #6 (15th and 16th), to close the group stage... see you in a month or so...
