  1. Foconi just destroyed Garozzo (and actually he won this title quite easily...the only real scare came in the round of #16 against the old fox Le Pechoux, when he started 2-6 and also got a light injury...luckily it proved only a scare, as I wrote)...
  2. spanking, whipping, hot waxing...all the S/M repertoire, I guess...
  3. I don't know why every time I watch Gregorio and Vecchi's assaults, I feel the unstoppable desire to throw my remote control into my tv screen... I'm firmly convinced that those 2 girls need really hard corporal punishment for all the chances they wasted in the past and they are still wasting day after day...
  4. Women's Individual Sabre Final Results Gold: Olga Kharlan Silver: Manon Brunet Bronze: Sofya Velikaya & Anna Marton Semifinals: Brunet b. Velikaya 15-11 Kharlan b. Marton 15-10 Gold Medal Match: Kharlan b. Brunet 15-12 Here is the Full Final Ranking (and Results) from Today's competition: http://www.fencingworldwide.com/en/competition/4576-2018/results/
  5. OK, however, as it's important for the World Ranking and the OQR, I still post the result of the Bronze Medal match, too... then, I will count 2 Bronze medals also in the team events when I post the final medal table of the tournament alone...
  6. good start for Italy, with 2 guys in the semis (despite the early exit by Cassarà)... the women's Sabre instead has just start the direct elimination tableau... semis and finals are scheduled for 6 p.m. CET...
  7. Men's Individual Foil Final Results Gold: Alessio Foconi Silver: Daniele Garozzo Bronze: Enzo Lefort & Alexey Cheremisinov Semifinals: Garozzo b. Lefort 15-8 Foconi b. Cheremisinov 15-11 Gold Medal Match: Foconi b. Garozzo 15-4 Here is the Full Final Ranking (and Results) from Today's competition: https://www.fencingworldwide.com/en/competition/4571-2018/results/
  8. I'm not sure it works that way anymore... in all the official documents on the FIE website (and in the live scoring by LiveResult, for what it could count) the teams are ranked 3rd and 4th in each event according to the Bronze Medal match result (and that assault is also named officially "Bronze Medal match"), the double Bronze medal is not recorded anymore...
  9. Cassarà already out in the round of #32... but still, 4 Italians and a half in the round of last #16... (1 however is fencing for Turkey and "the half" for the Netherlands...and 2 of the "true Italians" have to face each other so early )... and 2 Dutch guys in the same round of #16...

  13. no, they publish them every Tuesday after an event has been completed... by the way, in the Park discipline, the ranking is exactly the same as the Dew Tour's (being the first event counting for the OQR)... those are yesterday's events full rankings... women's Park Final Ranking http://www.worldskate.org/skateboarding/results/category/569-dew-tour-2019-park-results.html?download=3505:women-park-full-results men's Park Final Ranking http://www.worldskate.org/skateboarding/results/category/569-dew-tour-2019-park-results.html?download=3504:men-park-full-result women's Street Final Ranking http://www.worldskate.org/skateboarding/results/category/568-dew-tour-2019-street-results.html?download=3500:women-street-full-results men's Street Final Ranking NOT published yet, but here you can find the various stages of the competition and take the final ranking off them... http://www.worldskate.org/skateboarding/results/category/568-dew-tour-2019-street-results.html
  14. by the way, for those who want to watch all the Finals... here's the Full Lenght Broadcast from yesterday...
  15. and here we go with absolute craziness (10 years young contenders! ) and biased (understatement, if there's one) judges... God save us from this thing (I don't even know how to name it)... IOC greediness must have gone to the point of no return, if they want to take advantage of such young kids...

  19. the table has now taken shape quite clearly...the current top 4 teams are likely to end up in the top 4 positions also at the end of the round robin play... I'm very, very disappointed by "my" West Indies, I expected a lot more from them, but the sad truth is that they are not competitive enough if compared to the big 4...
  20. just look at the post above... the men's Street is scheduled for 23.30 (Italian time), the men's Park (with our 2 guys) will start @ 1.30 a.m. (Italian time)... however, tomorrow you will find all the 4 finals on Youtube...
  21. Women's Park Final running right now...

  23. yes, but I wouldn't bet a single cent on the girls and the guys will have a really strong competition for only 3 spots... I fear we won't get any team pass this time (and it would be a shame, as we've always qualified to at least 1 team event since the 1996)...
  24. wow! what a final between Ellison and Khairul... Nespoli not on the podium...is there something new? by the way, the final outcome for Italy is simply a total disaster, with both teams missing the Olympic qualification (and the men were also the defending champions)... it couldn't go worse...
