    Wow, not even close. I really had high hopes for this team after earlier wins. No offence, because they're very good, but Belgium isn't THIS good to make Canada look like a novice team.

    Mathematically, yes. If they were to come back and win almost guaranteed. But as it looks now, losing 3-1, probably not.

    I don't, but it's all more about where I am in the world at the time. I'm now in Central Zone, basically, so it's more normal than East Asia where I was before. TBH, I love playing volleyball, but I don't watch much on TV.

    I thought this team was one of the best of the tournament. Now they look like they don't even belong here. I hate to say it, they don't even look like they're trying. Those serves? Those "blocks"? I don't understand.

    Waiting for this game like it's an Olympic semi-final.

    Ellie Black had a pretty bad all around final, finishing 16th. With her qualifying score she would have been a solid 4th. By the looks of it she wasn't the only one who had difficulty. In both the team finals and all-around finals the gymnasts seem to be having a rough time. Here's hoping Ellie can turn it around Sunday in the uneven bars final.

    I think, technically, Canada could lose to Belgium in 5 sets and still make it IF they beat Mexico in 3/4, and Belgium at best beats Bulgaria in 5. In this scenario, if Belgium beats Bulgaria in 3/4 they'd be tied with Canada for wins and points. I'm not sure what the next tie-breaker is. But I don't want to put that out into the universe. Canada has played incredibly well so far, so let's just see them win!

    With their performance thus far this week, Canada has shot up to #10 in the ranking. Would still much rather they clinch their spot here though.

    Canada rallies from 17-12 down to take set 2 25-22, up 2-0 vs China.

    I didn't watch the final live, but just looking at the scores, every men's team down considerably except China who climbed to silver. Good thing Canada performed in the qualification to get to Paris.

    Canadian men's team not great in the final. Their score here would have gotten them 17th overall in qualifying. Overall the scores are underwhelming in the final, tbh. Every team way down. China the only one who improved, finishing in 2nd.
